Umbrellas

One drizzly morning in Meknes, Morocco, after braving the meat section of the local market - time for a coffee break. Lovely patterns made by the umbrellas overhead.

A big "hi" from Canada. My husband always thinks I'm crazy taking photos of patterns, shadows, stairs and "what not." ......much more interesting than a bunch of people lined up against a typical tourist scene. I have just recently signed up to follow your blog and I am enjoying it....so much talent you have. I can't sew a straight line and don't want to learn so your art is so inspiring to me. I see materials in a different light. I have just become acquainted with the artist Jean Myers(such a nice lady) and she hooked me into your blog. I will continue to enjoy it and, explore it in more depth. Karin Lynn from Ontario, Canada
