I love my blogging world. I have made oodles of new 'friends' all over the world. The beauty of connecting in this way is that like minded people are attracted to each other - such a wonderful myriad of visual delights pop onto my screen as I sit in my pyjamas and enjoy my morning coffee or two.
OK, so it may not be the same as going to a gallery and seeing the work first hand, but the advantages are many -
-writing the dialogue yourself, so that your personality comes through,
-adding links to other artists, events, websites, etc,
-changing and updating at any time,
-getting feedback via comments from people all over the world,
-advertising events you are involved with,
-listing works for sale,
-and it's FREE !!
Enjoy........

I love working with
abstract ideas and images based on landscape, ancient culture, and elements of
design, especially line and texture. I try to translate the 'essence' of the
inspiration onto canvas, into jewellery or into a’ book’ form. My working
materials are often discarded objects which have their own history and
contribute energy to the art work. They are simple, honest and noble elements
which reflect the ‘wabi sabi’ philosophy of Zen Buddhism. The work evolves
further as viewers add their own interpretations to the pieces, forging links
between myself, the objects, viewers, and the eternal creative energy source.
